Following a period of review and development, the updated version of RiskWISE has been released and is compliant with the new edition of API RP 581. BS 7910, the UK procedure for the assessment of flaws in metallic structures, was first published almost 30 years ago in the form of a fracture/fatigue assessment procedure, PD6493. TWI, as a voting member of the API RP 581 Committee, has actively contributed to the latest edition of this code. TWI has developed and marketed structural integrity software compliant with British Standard BS 7910 since the early 1990s, and plays a leading role in the development of the standard. TWI’s software has been built on TWI’s years of experience and expertise and is in accordance with codes such as API 581, API RP 580 and ASME, improving your safety, facilitating increased run times and reducing expensive outage costs. RiskWise is claimed to be a code-compliant risk-based inspection and maintenance software system for optimising plant inspection and maintenance, available for process plants, pipelines, and boilers. TWI has developed and marketed structural integrity software compliant with British Standard BS 7910 since the early 1990s, and plays a leading role in the development of the standard.
